The 2008 Advanced Technologic Forum on Water Industry will be held from 19th – 20th June 2008 in Beijing, in the premises of Beijing Guoyi Hotel. This annual forum is being fostered by the Chinawater.net & Environmental Engineering Department of Tsinghua University, and sponsored by the General Water of China Ltd, DFS Engineering – Italy, and ITT (China) Investment Co. Ltd.

The Forum adopts a keynote speech and live communication form, giving systematic explanations, case analysis, and hot-spot discussion. The contents of the Forum embrace six sections and those are: Technology Briefing, Deep Treatment of Wastewater and Plant Upgrading, Discussion on Water Supply Key Technologies and Tap Water Plant Upgrading, Case Study on Sludge Treatment and Disposal, Popular Technologies in Industrial Wastewater Treatment, Public Concern-Drinking Water Quality and Health.

The Water Forum represents a professional technology workshop, a sort of a communicating and learning platform, where the most prominent experts in the field present real practice examples and act as technology strategic advisors. The participants are well known experts from water bureaus of local governments, water utilities, water drainage companies, WWTPs, water investment companies, environmental engineering companies, research centres, design institutes, universities, equipment and technology suppliers, consultancy companies, and other professionals. Eng. Augusto Pretner, Managing Director of SGI Studio Galli Ingegneria S.p.A. and President of DFS Engineering, is honoured to participate in this event in the first Section “Technology Briefing and Keynotes” and to present the “Study on the practical technologies of China water industry and case analysis”.

The Forum will also host some Special Guests such as university professors (Chinese Academy of Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology, Tsinghua University) and other institutional experts (Water Quality Monitoring Office of China Disease Control and Prevention Science Academy, Environmental Sanitation Monitoring Centre, Environment and Sanitation Office of Public Relationship Department of Fudan University).

2008水业高级技术论坛将于2008年6月19-20日在北京国谊宾馆举行。这个每年一度的盛会由中国水网和清华大学环境工程学院主办、中环水务集团、意大利蒂凡思（北京）工程咨询有限公司和ITT公司赞助协办。

论坛以嘉宾致词和现场交流讨论的形式进行，着重于系统阐述、案例分析、和热点讨论。论坛主要面对以下六大领域：技术简报、污水深度处理和污水处理厂升级、供水关键技术的讨论、水厂升级、污泥处置案例分析、工业污水处理的技术和饮用水水质安全的公众关注。

水业论坛是专业技术的研讨会，提供了交流和学习的平台，在这里顶尖的业内专家就实用案例发表演讲，并为相关技术提供建议和战略分析。与会者也是来自各地水务部门、政府机构、自来水公司、排水公司、污水处理厂、水务投资公司、科研院所、大专院校、和设备及技术供货单位、咨询公司和其他机构的专业人士。SGI Studio Galli Ingegneria S.p.A的董事长兼意大利蒂凡思（北京）工程咨询有限公司的总裁，Augusto Pretner先生，将受邀参加此次论坛，并就“技术简报和嘉宾致词”单元发表讲话，主题为 “Study on the practical technologies of China water industry and case analysis（中国水业实用技术及其案例分析）”。

此次论坛还将邀请来自大学的教授（中国工程院、哈尔滨工业大学和清华大学等）和有关专家（中国疾病防控中心环境与健康产品安全所水质监测研究室、复旦大学公共卫生学院环境卫生学教研室等）。
