Project for Drinking Water Provision to the cities of Kaolack, Fatick, Koungheul and Ziguinchor in Senegal.

SGI Studio Galli Ingegneria S.p.A. one of DFS member companies has been preliminarily awarded the international tender fostered by SONES – Société Nationale des Eaux du Senegal – related to drafting of detailed design and works supervision for completion of water distribution network of four large cities located in the central-southern part of Senegal - Kaolack, Fatick, Koungheul and Ziguinchor. The multiyear contract will allow ensuring the provision of drinking water to 100% of population living in urban areas and surroundings of the four cities, upon completion of works on the water network.

This contract has strategic impact for Senegal in its strive for accomplishment of objectives indicated by NEPAD (New Partnership for Africa’s Development) in order to enhance and optimise the living conditions of population, contribute to reduction of diseases and reduce poverty, through the development of infrastructure on the entire territory of the country.

SGI Studio Galli Ingegneria S.p.A.，是蒂凡思（北京）工程咨询公司的成员公司之一，最近在国际项目招投标中（SONES – Société Nationale des Eaux du Senegal）中标，赢得了“为塞内加尔中北部四大重要城市Kaolack、Fatick、Koungheul和Ziguinchor的供水管网工程提供工程设计和施工监理”的项目。这个为期多年的项目一旦完成，即供水管网完工后可以解决上述四个城市的市区及其周边地区100%的人口饮用水供给问题。

这个项目对于塞内加尔尽快达成“非洲发展新伙伴”（NEPAD）的通过整个国家的基础设施建设来改善和优化人居条件、减少疾病、缓解贫困的目标具有战略意义。
